Marco is a lawyer, legal directories consultant and founder of Harpa. Marco is an expert on bridging the gap between the legal world and the marketing. He specialises in making complex legal work accessible to non-lawyers and legal directory researchers, bringing each law firm’s voice and personality into their communications.
He graduated from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo with a BA in Law and a BA in International Relations before completing an LLM in International Law at UCL with a Distinction. Marco is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish and Italian.
Leika has over 14 years of experience in marketing, having worked for neatly 10 years at TozziniFreire Advogados, one of the largest Brazilian full-service law firms. There she was responsible for the Legal Directories and Awards Department. She holds a BA from Fundação Cásper Líbero in Public Relations and is fluent in both Portuguese and English. She also has intermediate knowledge of Spanish and Japanese.
Gisela worked as a lawyer in large Brazilian law firms, as a legal translator and editor in translation companies, and as a teacher in English schools before joining Harpa as Head of Translation and Editing. She specializes in making legal English accessible to non-lawyers, including to legal directory researchers, and helps law firms and lawyers improve their communication with the market overall. She has an LLB from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and postgraduate degrees in Contract Law, Real Estate Law, and Translation. She is fluent in both Portuguese and English.
Fernanda worked as a lawyer at Cemig (the Electricity Company of the State of Minas Gerais) and in major Brazilian law firms (such as Siqueira Castro Advogados). She transitioned to the legal translation/interpretation market working for the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Minas Gerais, as well as private law firms and legal corporate departments. In parallel, she specialized in marketing, having worked for the biggest digital platform in Latin America (Hotmart) and studied Executive Marketing at Ohio University. As a lawyer-linguist-marketer she has a unique perspective of the client’s communication needs in different areas, whether it be legal directories, marketing or communications. Fernanda holds an LLM in Corporate Law from IBMEC/MG, an LLB from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, a specialization degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and Translation and Interpretation. She is Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish and has intermediate knowledge of French.
